The body of Christ received a gift from God when Bishop Noel Jones was born. Therefore, it was by Divine appointment that he followed in the footsteps of his father, Bishop Robert Jones, when he acknowledged his call into ministry at the age nineteen.
Although he was raised in Jamaica under an extremely strict Pentecostal traditional system, he somehow escaped the limitations of tradition to widen his spiritual parameters to reach people of varied backgrounds and cultures. Grace Jones, along with the diversity of his other siblings probably helped a great deal. "If I could reconcile and keep peace among us, I can reconcile the Church through the power of God."
Bishop Jones' ministry uniquely promotes reconciliation and redemption, which definitely crosses denominational and social lines. His God given anointing to preach and teach from a psychological-theological platform opposed to arguing philosophical-theological church issues has strengthened and encouraged the faith of people across the globe from Seattle to Miami, from London to Africa.
His intellectual, scriptural approach, and his intense oratorical style, stimulates the intellect of people on all levels of life. This style and approach was responsible for Tavis Smiley flying from Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles every weekend to attend service. Many hail his method as "being practical, yet powerful" while penetrating the hardest of hearts, captivating the attention of the restless and convincing the confused that God is able to save anybody.
Bishop Jones pastors the City of Refuge Church in Gardena (by Los Angeles), and upon his installment as pastor, the membership was approximately 3,300. Some view him, as going from "known to well known" and it is evident by the increase of membership well over 10,000.

With an unwavering commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ, the integrity of His Word, and a love for God’s people, the Reverend Doctor Jacqueline E. McCullough is a woman in pursuit of the Kingdom of God.
A second-generation preacher, Dr. McCullough is the senior pastor and founder of The International Gathering at Beth Rapha, “Where You Can Experience Healing To Heal By Loving Christ,” in Pomona, NY. Her vision for evangelistic ministry is expressed in the international reach of Daughters of Rizpah, a non-profit religious organization, where she serves as President and CEO.
Pastor McCullough was awarded her Doctor of Ministry degree from the Drew Theological Seminary, and currently holds a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy from New York University. She has also engaged in postgraduate study at the Jewish Theological Seminary. She is widely noted for excellence in ministry, including recognition from Ebony and Gospel Today magazines as one of the most influential African-American preachers in the nation. Her weekly television program, “Precious JEMS,” airs all over the world on The Word Network.
Radical, Revolutionary, Innovative, Anointed, and Cutting Edge are some of the words often used to describe Dr. Jamal-Harrison Bryant. This ministry driven vanguard has inspired thousands of believers around the nation. He has an unprecedented prophetic mantle that distinguishes him as a remarkable visionary who has made a powerful impact in the Christian Arena. Stepping out on faith, with the support of Lady Gizelle Bryant and 43 people who believed that God was going to do the unexpected, Dr. Bryant founded The Empowerment Temple. The first service was held on Easter Sunday, April 22, 2000, in a Baltimore City banquet hall. In just seven short years, God has directed the paths of over 10,000 members to Empowerment Temple, the fastest growing church in the A.M.E. denomination.
Dr. Bryant is a pastor with a global mission, which is to “Empower the World through the Word.” He believes that the body of Christ should be empowered in every area of life. His preaching and teaching focuses on empowering believers spiritually, developing them educationally, exposing them culturally, activating them politically, and strengthening them economically.
While Dr. Bryant has distinguished himself and attained great accomplishments, it is noteworthy to mention that he failed the 11th grade and dropped out of high school. However, he later obtained a GED certificate and went on to further his education. He received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Studies, from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, and earned a Master of Divinity degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. In 2005 he received his Doctor of Ministry Degree. After three years of worshiping in several locations, a banquet hall, a college campus and a high school auditorium, on February 15, 2004, the Empowerment Temple congregation triumphantly marched into its new 2,000 seat sanctuary located in Baltimore City. In spite of the awesome anointing on his life, Dr. Bryant is still modest enough to “keep it real.” His humility allows him to connect with those from age seven to seventy.
He is the proud husband of First Lady Gizelle Bryant, and a devoted father to his precious little ladies, Topaz, Grace, and twins Angel and Adore. No matter how he is described, Dr. Jamal-Harrison Bryant is “Empowering the World through the Word.”
